Softball..

Whenever I was four years old I couldn't wait to be signed up to play tee ball. Now i'm a senior in high school and my very last softball game is approaching. I've been playing for fourteen years and it is going to be extremely weird to have a life with out softball. I'm sure that my life won't be completely softball free but I know that I will miss it so much. I hope that our season ends well!

SENIOR solos

Last Sunday I think I was more nervous than i've even been in my entire life. It was senior solo day. I've been in swing choir for three years and only done a solo one time. I chose a song that was in my range and practiced weeks before the concert. The name of my song was I Will Remember You. Although we were all nervous everyone did a great job. It was nice to take that sigh of releif after you hit your last note. The after part was a lot of fun to. It was at the Beistervelds. There was a lot of stuff to do out there but my favorite was red neck golf. I had never even heard of it but it was so much fun. The day was over and the night was awesome. everyone did great!

Moving on with life

As we all know there are not many more days until we are out of here. I think that everyone is pretty excited about it too! I know that I am counting down the days for sure. Its not that Pike Central is a bad place at all I'm just entirely ready to move on with my life. I've lived in Pike County my entire life, went to school here and even lived in the same house. I'm ready for something new. Yeah, its scary to think about but it's part of growing up. I'm ready to meet new people and learn new things. I can't wait to go to college. I hope that everyones future is awesome.! :)

To Kill A Mocking Bird

I really enjoyed the play yesterday! The thing that I thought was most awesome about it were the children actors, they did amazing! I can't imagine doing homework and going to school when I can and going to rehearsals everyday. Everyone else did good as well. I could tell they all blended together very well. I thought that it was awful whenever someone in the audience was using a laser light and the fact that someone threw gum on the stage. These people have talents that shouldn't be interupted. But, other than that there was nothing about the play that I did not enjoy.

Weekend

I'm extremely happy that it's Friday.
I'm trying to decide what to do tonight. Its very rare that I have a weekend night off of work, but I do tonight. I want to do something that is different than what I do every weekend but, living in Pike County, makes that kind of hard.

OPEN BARN

I'm very excited to be working on softball during the off season.
I have set some goals for myself that are going to be hard to reach but working now, six months before season will really help me accomplish those goals.
Basically open barn is just about getting better. Its also a way for the incoming freshmen to get to know what high school softball is all about. I can't wait till season actually starts!
